(If you see a two-star review here, I left that prior to the remedial events of this review. I'm hoping this overwrites that, rather than creating a second review.)
The idea of a leave-in hypoallergenic gold ball earring with a push-in back is novel and genuinely impressive. The current post length options (6mm and 8mm) don't seem well-chosen. I don't know what pachyderms or retired boxers they tested these on, but the 6mm was dangling out of my wife's earlobe by a country mile.
Fortunately, their customer service provided a swap-out for the 4mm posts (which they apparently sell, but don't list as an option unless you complain to them. Hopefully they've fixed that by the time you're reading this). Sadly, the pin is long enough that it can't sink fully into the human-sized post, but with a vice, a watchmaker's loupe, a pliers, and some jeweler's tin snips, we were able to shorten the pin, and now it fits like a dream. We had all of that lying around, but even if we'd had to buy it just for this, the total price would still be less than for a comparable item from a competing jewelry retailer.
All of which is to say, this company and its design team are still finding their footing, but they have some really neat ideas, and their customer service makes up for whatever shortfalls the products are still working out. I will look forward to seeing what else they come up with.
