Materials: Medical-grade (ASTM F-136) titanium. Hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin.
Finish: Our jewelry is bonded with Titanium Nitride PVD to best match your 14k gold and Platinum PVD to match your fine silver jewelry. Titanium nitride is a hypoallergenic material that is more durable and resistant to wear than traditional gold plating. PVD coating is also more environmentally friendly than traditional plating.
Care: Waterproof and tarnish resistant. To maintain shine, polish with a soft cloth.

Most people wear our standard (6mm) backing comfortably. If your ears are thinner, or you find that your earrings are drooping, you may prefer a short (4mm) backing. Very cute and seems to be quality made but the gauge is slightly big for my helix piercing (pierced over 10 yrs ago, very much healed). So either my piercing hole is smaller than average or they are inaccurate in stating 18g is good for 'healed cartilage piercings'. It's too painful to wear in the helix position but hoping I can still use the piece for other piercings.
