Your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides California residents with certain rights regarding your Personal Information. Under the legislation, California residents can choose to opt out of the “sale” of their Personal Information to third parties. Based on the CCPA definition, “sale” means the sale, sharing or other communication of an individual’s Personal Information by a business with another business or third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, which may include for the purpose of creating advertising and other communications.
