Our 14k gold Gaia white topaz ball back earrings pair a mother and child stone for beautiful effect. Gaia is all about the bond between loved ones - mother and child, sister and sister, BFF and BFF.
To wear our ball back earrings, you’ll screw on the solid gold ball back onto the earring post. The screw on design is designed to be safe and secure (great for kids!) and it also won’t squeeze your ear - so they’re extra comfortable and perfect for wearing 24/7.
Our signature ball back stud earrings are designed for both lobe and cartilage piercings, and they’re designed to wear 24/7 while you’re showering and sleeping. Our ball back studs are also poke-free - so they’re great to wear with Airpods and headphones.

Crystal Trinity Ball Back Earrings in 14k Gold
I absolutely love this earring! I wear it as a single and love it! I was looking for a “flat back” earring as post backs were killing the side of my head when laying down. Not only has this solved my problem completely but I absolutely love that it’s 2 earrings in one and can wear it as either the little gold bar or as a little gold ball!! Highly recommend!
they are really tiny
I purchased the tiny secret ball backs to wear in my recently-pierced third holes so I can maintain the piercings without changing earrings out to shower, swim, workout, sleep, etc. And they are the perfect nap earrings, as promised. I am a complete convert after two weeks of continuous wear. Getting the earrings screwed in was definitely not for the faint of heart…and I accidentally put one in backwards so the ball back was facing front (which you could wear that way since the backing is just as pretty). But I love having just a tiny little earring for my third hole, so I had to redo it. And the front is VERY tiny. Another reviewer mentioned that the front slipped into her new piercing, and the same happened to me. It takes a lot of patience to hold the tiny front secure while screwing in the tiny ball backing, all while not being able to see what you are doing. Make sure you insert them while leaning over a towel so that when you drop a piece (and you will do this) you don’t lose it. It’s worth the effort because once they are in, they appear to be secure. I occasionally check the back to ensure it’s still screwed in, and it seems fine. After the first two nights of sleeping in fear the front would fall into my ear again, my ears are healing fine and the front is staying put.
I was pretty frustrated putting these in, but it must be like giving birth because now I’m shopping for a different pair for my second holes, which are completely healed. Going to try the more affordable titanium flat-backed nap earrings since the piercings are older.
I receive compliments on the tiny secret earrings all the time. I keep them in and just wear whatever I feel like in my first holes, and the tiny secret earrings go with everything in my existing collection. These are definitely an investment piece, but if I go by price per wear, they are worth it. Especially since I don’t think I can get them out, so they will be a daily wear!
I purchased two sets of these earrings and both of my daughters lost one backing from each set within 3-4 days of wearing. They are advertised that you were while you nap and 24/7. Apparently you need to check the backings daily. I like the look but for the price and the backings to just come off its not worth the cost.
