Most people wear our standard (6mm) backing comfortably. If your ears are thinner, or you find that your earrings are drooping, you may prefer a short (4mm) backing. I got these to where in my first of three lobe piercings. They are dainty and I cannot even tell I am wearing them! If you are looking for large and bold earrings, these probably aren’t going to be for you. If you want something simple and minimal, these are a great pick. I haven’t felt the need for a backer. I did squeeze the sides together and they have stayed in my ears just fine.

These are super cute and dainty. My only gripe is that they constantly slip back in my ear (meaning the gem pushes back into the earring hole) which means I'm always repositioning them. It doesn't hurt, they just don't sit as intended. I even put rubber backings to try to prevent them from slipping around, but they still do a bunch.
I'm the type that never removes my earrings and these are super comfy, which is important to me. I've had them for months at this point and haven't noticed any degradation from wearing them while running, showering, etc.

I love these so much but one fell out within just a few days and i havent been able to find it. I pinched them closed slightly like the websit recommends but they still fell out. I should’ve put a clear back on them but liked how clean they looked without a back :(
