To wear our ball back earrings, you’ll screw on the solid gold ball back onto the earring post. The screw on design is designed to be safe and secure (great for kids!) and it also won’t squeeze your ear - so they’re extra comfortable and perfect for wearing 24/7.
Our signature ball back stud earrings are designed for both lobe and cartilage piercings, and they’re designed to wear 24/7 while you’re showering and sleeping. Our ball back studs are also poke-free - so they’re great to wear with Airpods and headphones.

- Solid 14k gold stud earring with a trio of 1.5mm white topaz stones
- Earring top is 3.5mm in diameter, 3mm ball back
- Solid 14k gold threaded post and ball backing
- Post is 20g and 7.5mm long (effective length is 6mm once you screw on the ball backing)

I'm conflicted. I love the look of the tiny secret earrings, but I've now lost two of the ball backs and I'm giving up. I didn't actually find them too difficult to get on, but because both the backs and the fronts are round, I couldn't get them secure enough not to unscrew. If these had the flat push backs as an option, they'd be perfect. But given the price for the earrings and replacement backs, and what seems like the likelihood that I'd have to keep replacing the backs, I wouldn't recommend them.

The “tiny secret” earrings with the ball backs are perfectly petite! My only tweak would be to have a pushback option. I am right-handed; it was challenging to fasten the ball back, especially on my right ear. I was hesitant when I saw the cost, but worth it. These are cute but not worth 160$ a piece. I of course lost the ball back within 2 seconds of attempting to put it on. Be warned that these are very delicate and after I get my replacement ball back I will get help to put this in. Kinda wish it was a better design for the price.
