I thought MIRU started ten years ago, with the idea of jewelry that keeps up with your life.

Now I realize that MIRU is something bigger: the magic of seeing something for the first time, and holding on to that feeling.

And it’s been a part of me my entire life. It lived in the gems and shells I collected as a kid — talismans for the people and ideas that changed the way I saw the world. It was in the two suitcases I carried when I walked away from my regularly scheduled life in my mid 20s. It is with me now, as a mom, as I get to re-experience the world through the eyes of a precocious five-year-old.

Our jewelry is crafted for the art of daily living, for every version of yourself you inhabit throughout the day. It’s jewelry that keeps you centered when everything around you is changing.

We are curators forever chasing beauty, restless souls who won’t settle for second best. MIRU is for all of us who keep alive to possibility and wonder.
