All About Tarnishing

Tarnishing is completely natural for sterling silver and non-PVD plated jewelry. It's just the jewelry reacting with the air (AKA oxidizing). Tarnishing can be sped up by a number of factors: body chemistry, water/sweat, exposure to harsh chemicals or personal care products (e.g. shampoos and soaps).

To make your jewelry last, follow the care tips above and store in a safe, dry place.
